Bernie Sanders To Offer Rebuttal To Trump’s Address to Congress
Vermont senator’s remarks will be live-streamed on various social media
Sen Bernie Sanders is taking yet another step in his battle against Donald Trump, Trump’s right-hand man, Elon Musk and their efforts to turn the United States into a full-on oligarchy.
The prominent Vermont independent who twice ran for president has been speaking out regularly since Trump’s inauguration.
He began with regular speeches from the floor of the US Senate, and more recently made speaking stops in Midwestern red states before packed audiences.
Sanders’ rebuttal is another extension of that.
Trump will address the nation Tuesday evening from a joint session of Congress.
Sanders’ remarks response will stream live on the senator’s Facebook, YouTube, X and Instagram accounts following Trump’s address.
