Dog-killing Governor Begins Rehabilitation Tour With Hannity
Noem murdered her puppy by gunshot
South Dakota Gov Kristi Noem is trying to come back politically from her confession that she killed her puppy and other animals in cold blood.
Noem, who wrote her episodes of animal-snuffing in her forthcoming book apparently in hopes of bolstering her chances of being picked as Donald Trump’s 2024 running mate, found instead that shooting animals creates a rare sense of bipartisanship.
Bipartisan revulsion and disgust, that is — with even Noem’s fellow right-wingers repelled by her depravity.
Still, Noem — a politician in the the Mount Rushmore State for nearly 20 years — wants to see if she can somehow survive this encounter with animal cruelty and political suicide.
And it turns out that longtime Fox News propagandanist Sean Hannity is more than happy to help with her attempt at public rehabilitation.
So much so that Hannity tried to create a false equivalency between Noem and President Biden’s own history with his pets.
Taking a page from Trump, Noem tried to dismiss her pet murder as “fake news,” despite being the one who wrote about it in her own memoir.
The Fox News host tried to help by describing Noem’s little victim as harmful and violent, even though in her own account the governor described 14-month-old as “the picture of pure joy.”
Further, always game to jab at Biden whether fair or not, Hannity tried to create a false narrative in which her murder of Cricket was a better choice than Biden’s care of his German Shepherd, Commander, who ultimately was banished from the White House after biting incidents with the Secret Service.
“You know, I was shocked when we learned that Joe Biden, he has a German shepherd, that when all is said and done, 24 Secret Service agents were bitten by a German shepherd, by a big dog,” Hannity said.
