Former White House Advisor Believes in ‘Hidden Undercover’ Trump Voters for 2024
Conway's remarks coincide with former president's controversial rally in Waco
A prominent former White House advisor to Donald Trump predicts that “hidden undercover” voters will come out in 2024 to support the former president's bid for reelection.
Kellyanne Conway predicted “hidden undercover” Donald Trump voters in 2024 and knocked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) for being too focused on COVID ahead of a potential 2024 run. DeSantis is seen as a potential rival to Trump for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
“That’s why Biden’s approval rating on the economy is 31 percent and that’s why there will be many hidden undercover Trump voters in 2024 if he is the nominee because they will say, I want the guy who did the job before on the economy, I’m going to strip away everything else,” Conway said.
Appearing on Fox Business on Saturday, Conway predicted a Trump victory in 2024 if President Biden expectedly gets his party’s nomination and it’ll be thanks to the economy and worries about inflation.
Conway became well-known from early in the Trump administration when she claimed the existence of “alternative facts” to defend otherwise-false statements.
Recent public opinion polling suggests, however, that Biden still would best Trump again in a potential rematch in next year's elections.
Trump Saturday held a controversial rally in Waco, Texas, on the anniversary of exactly 30 years after a 51-day standoff and deadly siege between law enforcement and members of the Branch Davidian cult, that resulted in the deaths of more than 80 members of the religious cult and four federal agents.
Trump described the upcoming 2024 elections in apocalyptic terms, calling them “the final battle.”
