‘Kamala Was Born that Way’: Panicked Trump Takes Random Jabs at His Opponent
Former president lobs more false, personal attacks against Harris
Apparently panicking as the presidential race continues to slip away from him, Donald Trump lobbed even more false and baseless attacks at his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump took random jabs at Harris Saturday at a campaign event he held in the battleground state of Wisconsin.
Although most opinion polling shows a continued tight race for president, momentum clearly has been swinging Harris’s way since she stepped in as the Democratic nominee after President Biden withdrew from his bid for reelection in July.
Trump has continually failed to land any effective political jabs against Harris, choosing mostly to insult the vice president personally.
That’s again what he chose to do at his rally in Prairie du Chien, Wis, in the far western region of the Badger State.
The former president, who was running on the issue of Biden’s cognitive decline when he was still in the race, is trying to falsely — and ham-handedly — tie Harris with the same issue.
“Joe Biden, became mentally impaired. Kamala was born that way,” Trump said. “She was born that way.”
The Republican, making his third run for the White House, has manufactured the false — and racist — issue of widespread “migrant crime” across the country.
Fact-checkers have found no evidence to support Trump’s claims that migrants are plaguing the nation with some kind of crime wave.
That, of course, has not deterred Trump, who Saturday suggested that Harris be impeached over the issue.
“If a Republican did what she did — if a Republican did what she did, that Republican would be impeached and removed from office, and rightfully so, for high crimes and misdemeanors,” he said. “That would be high crimes and misdemeanors.”
