The Joyfulness (And The Ugliness) Of Joe Biden's First White House Christmas
From singing nurses and a "Let's go Brandon" Scrooge, a look at what the season's brought the first couple
President Biden and First Lady Dr Jill Biden are celebrating their first Christmas in the White House since the president was inaugurated nearly a year ago.
And this holiday season has delivered both joy and unseemliness to the first couple’s doorstep.
Very appropriately for a nation — and a national healthcare system — continuing to struggle with the global COVID-19 pandemic, the Bidens were treated to singing nurses at the White House.
Meanwhile, the president also was met with someone who could only be described as the most classless of Scrooges.
On a call with the president and first lady intended for kids calling into NORAD to track Santa, a father ended the call by saying “Let's go Brandon,” which is code for “F*** Joe Biden,” the much classier Biden replied, “Let's go Brandon, I agree.”
“Just beyond contempt. The Bidens had just wished him and his children a Merry Christmas, asked the kids what they wanted for Christmas, etc. and this is how some irredeemable idiot chose to end the call,” commented the popular Twitter account calling itself Angry Staffer.
