More and more, people are turning to independent media, and that’s where The Washington Current comes in. We’re completely independent.

And while opinion and analysis matter, we know that democracy depends on facts and objective truth.

While we certainly come at the world from a progressive perspective, we will always be faithful to the facts — without fear or favor — even if it’s news maybe we’d rather not read.

But in the years ahead, we will be here, providing the truth you need to know what's really going on in a sea of propaganda and disinformation.
